Today I love: Super Shiny Sparkles!

I dont know a girl who doesnt absolutly love anything sparkly or glittery. I am no different, so when one of my girlfriends from work came in with fabulously sparkly nails, I knew the next time I got my nails done (yes, thats pretty much the only really "girly" thing I do. I love getting my nails done!) I would be getting some sparkle too!

I decided on the OPI brand Sparkle-icious nailpolish. I loved the blue, purple and gold mixed in, and it matches with just about everything I have (not that I've ever been super concerened with matching)

So in honor of my new sparkley nails, i've decided to share the sparkly love (have i said sparkly enough yet in this post?!)

Super sparkly acrylic ring? yes please!

So Fab. Via

Not just for St Patricks day anymore!

Not only is this an awesome pic, but glittery gloves? Heck yeah!

I've always loved to use glitter in my makeup... it gives you that "Im a fairy princess!" feeling.

What kind of sparkly things really give you that feeling of Fab?!
Stay tuned for some "One a Day Challange" soon!

Coral Creations

For some reason the past couple of weeks, I've been totally in love with coral and teal. Separate or together, these two colors have just been screaming summer to me (probably because every beach-side city here in Florida uses those colors as their primary color schemes lol). Because of my adoration for the lovely pinky-orange that is coral, I thought I'd share the love with you!

Amazing coral fringed bag.

I really dig this huge (dare I say gaudy?) coral and teal ring. I would totally rock that lol

Cleaning jewelry with toothpaste

No, you didnt read the title wrong. I said you can clean your lovelies with regular old toothpaste (and I normally use an old toothbrush as well!).

I decided the other day to (finally!) clean out and organize my jewelry box. Its huge, has lots of drawers, and frankly, was so jam packed with stuff that it wouldnt even close!

So as I was going through, I noticed that some of my lovely silver jewelry was starting to turn (i.e. oxidize or turn black). It reminded me of a trick that my mom and grandma swore by. Take regular old toothpaste (I used colgate :D) and smear it on the blackened surface, then rub vigorously! I used one of my sons old toothbrushes that we'd replaced (and for some reason was still floating around the house lol)
